The Principal

Dan Blyde has more than 25 years experience in public affairs and media in Australia.

Since establishing this consultancy in 2004, he has advised the executive management of companies across the mining, banking, health, media, infrastructure and transport industries to help them achieve their business aims and protect their public standing.

Dan started as a print journalist in 1982 before stints at the Seven Network, ABC TV, and then reporting for a decade with the Nine Network – some of that time as European Correspondent in London and Senior Political Reporter in Sydney.

In 2002, he accepted a role as Media Director to the then Deputy Premier of NSW, Minister for Planning & Aboriginal Affairs – later taking up a position as Chief of Communications in NSW largest agency, the Department of Education & Training.

In recent years he has provided counsel to the senior executive of many major corporations to help resolve a range of difficult and sensitive business issues and support major business initiatives.

Dan maintains strong relationships at the highest levels of the Australia media, business and government sectors.
